FAQs
What makes The HOUSE different from an AirBNB or Hotel?
The HOUSE is a unique experience unlike any other accommodation in Canada, and is specially catered to group stays.
Unlike a traditional hotel, guests sleep in a camp-style bunk bed room (with separate rooms available for coaches and chaperones). Your group has exclusive access to whichever portion of The HOUSE you rent, allowing you to freely use the living and kitchen space however you wish.
While our model may be different, our safety standards and practices are the same as any other hotel. The HOUSE is a purpose-built venue for accommodations, and we are a proud member of Discover Saskatoon.
All inquiries and bookings are handled directly by The HOUSE’s staff, and we guarantee there will always be a personal touch to your stay!
What kind of groups rent out The HOUSE?
For overnight stays, The HOUSE can sleep up to 32 occupants, with different options and price points for varying group sizes. We have hosted a wide range of groups overnight, including youth sports teams, University and National-level sports teams, school field trips, church groups, international exchange programs, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and more!
The HOUSE also offers day and evening rentals, providing a flexible option for a one-day event. Common rental uses include corporate teambuilding, teambuilding activities, and cooking classes.
What time is check-in and check-out?
We offer flexible check-in and check-out at no extra charge, pending overlap with any previous bookings. Book as early as possible so you can ensure you can secure your desired times!
Can I bring my own food?
Absolutely! Check out our kitchen essentials page to see what appliances, cookware, and condiments we provide.
The HOUSE also offers catering and grocery delivery service — check out our add-ons page, or inquire directly to work out something for your needs and budget!
Do I need to bring any bedding or towels? How about toiletries?
Nope! All towels and bedding will be provided on site, just like a hotel. Please bring your own toiletries.
Is there laundry?
The Whole HOUSE and Large Nest offer laundry facilities, perfect for keeping jerseys or other apparel fresh!
What security measures does The HOUSE have?
We have a state-of-the-art security system that gives occupants full control of the space. Chaperones will receive a unique security code upon arrival, and can set controls to ensure no one gets in or sneaks out.
For extra peace of mind, there is also a security code on the back gate leading to the patio, as well as exterior cameras.
Where do coaches/chaperones sleep?
The HOUSE has separate rooms for coaches and chaperones.
I have a mixed-gender group of athletes/students. Can I separate them in The HOUSE?
Yes! Mixed-gender groups can be split up by floor, depending on group size. Doors between floors can be locked overnight, and the alarm system can be controlled to prevent anyone from going outside overnight, guaranteeing more effective separation than a traditional hotel.
Can I rent The HOUSE to run paid courses/events?
Small businesses and individuals are more than welcome to rent our space to teach courses and host speaking engagements. Arrangements can be made to host on a recurring basis. Contact us for more details!

The Heart
Fostering connections is at the heart of who we are. At The HOUSE, we believe that it is important to take care of our neighbours in order to build strong communities. This is why we proudly support mental health and wellness programming developed by Heart Linked. These programs support middle-school aged girls in northern Saskatchewan communities where mental health resources are often scarce. A percentage of all profits will be donated to Heart Linked to continue this important work, in addition to hosting yearly retreats in our venue.
